Two high rise towers in Downtown Tampa Florida have been put up for sale. The Tampa office buildings Fifth Third Center at 201 E Kennedy Blvd and the Wells Fargo Center at 100 S Ashley Dr have both been placed on the market for sale.
Terrace Tower Group USA owns the 19 story Fifth Third Center, located
on the corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Tampa Street, which is a
class A office building totaling 280,000 net rentable square feet with
an adjacent 5-level parking structure that has direct access into the
building. The upper floors of this building offer spectacular views
of the city and Tampa Bay area!
The building sold for $52 Million in December 2005 and has an
assessed value of $21.3 million.
USAA Realty Company owns the 22 story Wells Fargo Center
which is also a class A building and has unobstructed views
of the Hillsborough River, Tampa Bay & Downtown.
It was purchased in January 2001 for $42.1 million and is
currently assessed at $26.7 million.
In June of last year, In-Rel Properties of Lake Worth bought the 31 story Rivergate Tower at 400 North Ashley Drive for $22 million. The Brookdale Group of Atlanta purchased the 36-story SunTrust Financial Center at 401 East Jackson Sreet for the tiny amount of $82.5 million in December 2011.
